RoboJob Triples Production Capacity in New Headquarters
RoboJob, the specialist in CNC automation, has a new home. In recent years, the company built a new headquarters in Heist-op-den-Berg, where it also recently moved in. With the new facility, the CNC specialist is tripling its production capacity. The new building is an important step for RoboJob's further growth.
For more than 15 years already, RoboJob has been on an impressive growth trajectory. In 2007, CEO Helmut De Roovere and CTO Luc De Ceuster laid the foundations for what has now grown into a sizeable SME. RoboJob employs more than 80 people, has branches in Germany and the United States and has already installed more than 1,700 robots in over 30 countries. To enable further growth, it also needed to expand in Belgium. Meanwhile, it has done so by building a brand-new headquarters in Heist-op-den-Berg, where it has been anchored from the start.
Ready for further growth
"We rented the previous building," Helmut De Roovere looks back. "Now we have built a new headquarters with a spacious showroom, modern offices and - very importantly - a production area and modern warehouse that are as much as three times bigger than in the previous building." It allows RoboJob to triple its production, which significantly reduces delivery times. "Whoever places an order today can get their robot as early as summer," De Roovere gloats.
State-of-the-art warehouse
So the warehouse was also greatly expanded, at a time when there are often shortages of parts. "Whether it's a new car or a part that needs to be replaced on a machine: too often today you have to wait a long time before a product or spare part can be delivered. I find that very frustrating. After all, in our industry, that means machines are at a standstill and production cannot take place. We do not want our customers to end up in such a situation, which is why we are investing in our stock," De Roovere explains. It will only reduce waiting times for new orders, spare parts or additional options. To make the best use of the available space, RoboJob invested in a state-of-the-art warehouse, which was partly automated.
Official opening
The new branch naturally also calls for a warm welcome for RoboJob's customers and partners. "This milestone obviously deserves to be celebrated," says a proud De Roovere. "In June, the official inauguration is scheduled where Mayor Jan Moons will also be present. It will be a unique opportunity to welcome our customers and partners from home and abroad to Heist-op-den-Berg and also thank them for the years of trust in RoboJob."
RoboJob's new branch is located at the Knotwilgenweg in Heist-op-den-Berg. The building meets all modern standards in terms of energy, sustainability and staff comfort.
