BIG KAISER shows high-precision tooling systems at EMO Hannover

BIG KAISER will showcase its industry-leading portfolio of high-precision tools at EMO 2023 in Hannover, Germany, September 18th to 23rd, 2023. At booth F20 in Hall 3, BIG KAISER will showcase its full range of high-precision systems, including the new EWA 68, an intelligent fully automatic fine boring tool that performs closed-loop boring operations. With EWA there is no need to stop the machine tool to take measurements and manually adjust the boring tool, increasing productivity and reducing failure rates.

BIG KAISER will also be showing the MEGA 12DS, a new tool holder for trochoidal performance cutting. The MEGA 12DS is the latest addition to BIG KAISER's DS line of tool holders for heavy-duty end milling. Designed for trochoidal milling with anti-vibration end mills, the MEGA 12DS series features high rigidity and gripping strength.

The third new product on display will be the PG (perfect grip) bayonet reduction sleeve, which is designed with an insert to fit any tool with a Weldon flat. This allows customers to use the tool of their choice. The reduction sleeve effectively eliminates pull-out and prevents the scrapping of expensive workpieces.

Advanced technology for precision tooling

BIG KAISER will have a substantial booth, covering 315m2, displaying a wide range of the company’s precision products. These will include smart dampers, milling chucks, boring tools, collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, cutting tools, turning tools, and more. Reto Adam, CEO of BIG KAISER Switzerland, said, "At EMO, we look forward to seeing our friends, colleagues and customers again– and to showcasing the industry’s most advanced technology for precision tooling, in both mechanical systems and electronic control.”

EMO Hannover is the world's leading trade fair for production technology. EMO Hannover showcases the entire spectrum of modern metalworking technology. In 2019, the most recent event attracted more than 2,200 exhibitors from 47 different countries, and around 120,000 highly qualified trade visitors.
