Mazak aims to inspire at EMO 2025 with new levels of innovation and integration

At EMO 2025 in Hannover (22–26 September), Yamazaki Mazak will showcase a comprehensive portfolio of machine tools and automation technologies. The company presents seven global premieres and five European debuts, underscoring its commitment to integrated and sustainable production. One of the highlights is the European debut of the Integrex j-200 NEO, designed for high-productivity multitasking in complex, variable batch environments.

Mazak’s EMO presence is built around the theme Experience Innovation, Empower Your Future. With 20 machines on display, including five built in Europe, Mazak covers a broad spectrum, from cost-effective 3-axis turning centres to high-end multi-tasking systems and Auto Gear technology. The Integrex j-200 NEO exemplifies Mazak’s strengths in multitasking machining. It is engineered to efficiently handle small-batch production with high complexity and part variety, making it suitable for manufacturers seeking flexibility without compromising output. A core focus is deep process integration. Live demonstrations will show how machining and laser technologies can work in tandem to reduce cycle times, energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, highlighting Mazak’s vision for efficient, low-impact manufacturing.

Automation and digital expertise

Mazak’s EMO booth will also present twelve automation solutions tailored for high-mix, low-volume production. From robot loading and pallet systems to tool handling and fully integrated manufacturing cells, all concepts are built for seamless implementation. The company's automation philosophy prioritises simplicity, scalability, and short return on investment. In the Mazak Solutions Centre, visitors will find expert guidance on automation, hybrid processing, digitalisation and advanced manufacturing strategies. Practical insights will be offered to help manufacturers improve throughput, optimise resources and remain competitive.

Next-gen CNC and advanced applications

Mazak will introduce the latest developments in its Mazatrol CNC platform. The demo area will feature Mazatrol DX with Quick Mazatrol programming, digital setup tools and intelligent functions that reduce setup times and streamline operations. Additional technology demonstrations include additive manufacturing, friction stir welding, advanced 5-axis milling and gear cutting. These capabilities extend Mazak’s Done-In-One concept, enabling users to bring more processes in-house and reduce production steps. As Richard Smith, Managing Director of Yamazaki Mazak Europe, states: “Everything on our stand reflects a single philosophy: helping customers become more productive, more resilient and more competitive.”
