From September 15 to 19, visitors to Hall 3, Booth B10/A12 in Stuttgart can follow CERATIZIT’s approach from raw material processing to the finished cutting tool. An interactive “Flow of Tungsten” exhibit will trace tungsten through the company’s global production network. Recycling and carbide scrap purchasing are part of this material flow.
The booth will also move beyond individual tools to address complete manufacturing processes. Tooling concepts for automotive, aerospace and hydraulic applications will be presented through actual components and machining strategies. The stated aim is to improve productivity and process reliability while controlling manufacturing costs.

A TRAUB mill-turn center will be used for the complete machining of a spinal implant at the booth. The demonstration is intended to show how tool performance, accuracy and process stability interact in the production of a demanding medical component.
CERATIZIT will also present tooling developed for titanium and heat-resistant superalloys. These materials are used in medical technology and aerospace applications. Their machining requirements are part of the company’s broader focus on complete manufacturing concepts.
