BLM GROUP and Salvagnini have announced a commercial partnership for the European market. The agreement brings together their activities in tube processing and flat-sheet laser cutting. BLM GROUP will continue to focus on tube-processing technologies. Salvagnini will serve as the point of contact for new commercial opportunities in flat-sheet laser cutting.

The companies say the agreement builds on their expertise in their respective fields. It also creates opportunities for mutual commercial activity in international markets. Their complementary technologies and established international presence support this cooperation. BLM GROUP’s activities include tube laser cutting and bending, 3D laser cutting cells, and laser welding systems. Salvagnini designs, manufactures, sells, and services sheet-metal processing systems. Its technologies cover cutting, punching, bending, and automation. The announcement defines the commercial roles of both companies. However, it does not provide details of individual projects or changes to their product ranges.

Tube processing remains with BLM GROUP

BLM GROUP’s tube-processing activities span several group companies. BLM SPA, based in Cantù, produces bending and tube-forming machines, wire-bending machines, welding cells, and 3D laser cutting cells. These technologies support different operations. They range from material forming to cutting and joining parts. ADIGE SPA, based in Levico Terme, manufactures Lasertube systems and disc cutting machines. These systems process tubes, solid bars, and profiles. The company also supplies brushing, measuring, washing, and collecting systems. ADIGE-SYS SPA, also based in Levico Terme, specializes in laser systems for large-diameter tubes and profiles. This range gives BLM GROUP a role across several tube-processing operations. Its activities therefore extend beyond tube cutting alone. The partnership leaves this area with BLM GROUP, together with its work in laser welding and 3D laser cutting.

Salvagnini takes the flat-sheet role

Salvagnini will be the contact for new commercial opportunities involving flat-sheet laser cutting solutions. The company’s broader offering includes integrated systems for cutting, punching, bending, and automation. These systems combine mechanical, electronic, and software technologies. Founded in Italy in 1963, Salvagnini develops and supplies customized sheet-metal processing solutions. Its activities cover system design and manufacturing, as well as sales and service. The company also works with a network of sister companies and partners in international markets. The agreement therefore distinguishes between the companies’ commercial roles. BLM GROUP will maintain its focus on tube processing. Salvagnini will handle new opportunities in flat-sheet laser cutting. Beyond Europe, the companies say their international presence provides a basis for developing further commercial opportunities together.
